The War Against Japan

By: Brainely Mendez Guzman, ’25

America is no longer safe

We are like preys to the rattlesnakes

Nothing could be done

Or enemies we’d be called

America is no longer safe

Getting kicked out our homes

With nothing but a bag

parents shedding tears

And children enjoying life

America is no longer safe

“White” tents our new house

Shared with strangers and mouse

Surrounded by wires

“Let’s get out”, you could try it

Soldiers up in towers

To !Bang! anyone who dared try

America is no longer safe

25 Dollars to get “home”

Which we found were sold

40 years to accept their wrongs

And we are still suffering from what they’ve done
